About Us

Active Policy Solutions provides government relations and advocacy support to clients; specializing in sports, health, wellness, education, youth development and civil rights policy.

Our team members have extensive experience in policy and government affairs work on the state and national level. We have Capitol Hill, non-profit, and business experience. We have a proven track record of planning and executing large Capitol Hill advocacy days, and building strong grassroots advocacy programs through the process of teaching and motivating key interest groups. We are passionate about our work, committed to our clients and dedicated to helping them accomplish their goals.

Client Showcase

Client: USA Cheer

USA Cheer, the national governing body for sport cheerleading, created STUNT, a new competitive team sport derived from cheerleading. With the support of Active Policy Solutions, USA Cheer is growing STUNT to create new opportunities for female athletes at both the collegiate and high school level.

Client: National Council of Youth Sports (NCYS)

The National Council of Youth Sports (NCYS) represents more than 200 organizations and corporations that serve over 60 million boys and girls registered in organized youth sports programs. Active Policy Solutions serves as the voice of NCYS on Capitol Hill to advance policies and initiatives on behalf of the youth sports industry.

Client: Inclusive Fitness Coalition (IFC)  

The Inclusive Fitness Coalition (IFC) is a national coalition of over 170 organizations dedicated to addressing the policy, environmental, and societal issues associated with the lack of inclusion and access to physical activity among people with disabilities. Active Policy Solutions lead the IFC’s multi-prong policy agenda to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided opportunities to participate in and receive benefits from health and physical activity programs.

Client: Student Affairs in Higher Education Consortium (SAHEC)

SAHEC is a consortium of executive leadership from Associations representing professionals in various student affairs roles on college and university campuses, including on-campus housing, student conduct, recreation and wellness, and many areas in between.
